The Exploited land at The Starlite Room in Edmonton on April 14, 2026. Formed in late-70s Edinburgh and still driven by Wattie Buchan, the band forged a UK82 sound at the crossroads of street punk and early hardcore. Their catalogue runs from Punk’s Not Dead and Troops of Tomorrow to Let’s Start a War, Horror Epics and the later, heavier turn of The Massacre, Beat the Bastards and Fuck the System. Fast tempos, clipped riffs, gang shouts and straight-to-the-point lyrics about work, authority and street life: a set built on urgency and impact.
Bootlicker brings Canadian hardcore punk with tight structures and a dry, abrasive tone. Short tracks, tense rhythms and vocals front and center, played with the kind of precision that hits quickly and leaves no slack.
Half Dead completes the bill with a raw, no-frills charge. Direct, loud and compact, their set pulls the room into the pace of the night from the first bars.
