Fit For A King brings the Lonely God North American tour to Québec on May 24, 2026 at Théâtre Capitole. Formed in 2007 in Tyler, Texas, the band drives a metalcore built on the swing between harsh shouts and clear vocals, heavy, rhythmic guitars and melodic passages that land with firm breakdowns. Across albums like Creation/Destruction, Dark Skies, The Path and The Hell We Create, their lyrics tap into faith, inner conflict and personal trauma without losing a direct, modern edge on stage.
Invent Animate joins as guest. Since 2011, the Texas group has leaned into a progressive side of metalcore: syncopated riffs, detailed guitar harmonies and atmospheric layers, with vocals that shift from grit to melody over a rhythm section that likes fractured patterns. Also on the bill: ten56. and Acres, rounding out a night that charts different shades of contemporary heavy music.
