The Fray - Summer of Light Tour

Info

Formed in Denver in the early 2000s, The Fray shaped a piano-driven alternative rock in which understated guitars and vocal harmonies support lyrics about relationships and faith. Centered on singer‑pianist Isaac Slade and guitarist Joe King, the band rose to prominence with “Over My Head (Cable Car)” and then “How to Save a Life,” both widely featured in American television series. The albums The Fray, Scars & Stories and Helios extended the formula while moving toward more pop and atmospheric textures, followed by a best‑of compilation in 2016 and a period of withdrawal in favor of personal projects. With the Summer of Light Tour, The Fray is back on the road, revisiting a repertoire that accompanied the 2000s and 2010s, from piano ballads to electric tensions. Meet them on May 11, 2026 at the Molson Canadian Centre in Moncton to hear these songs live and to gauge, without forced nostalgia, the strength of a melodic songwriting that has found its place between pop rock and the ballad.
