A Tribute to Whitney Houston by Glennis Grace

On 6 November 2026 Glennis Grace will perform at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp with A Tribute to Whitney Houston. The Amsterdam singer set the tone as a teenager when she won the Soundmixshow in 1994 with a Whitney cover. Since then she has built a career between soul, pop and R&B, with original songs and carefully chosen covers, often enveloped in orchestral arrangements and with melody and voice at the centre. In 2005 she represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest with My Impossible Dream; in 2018 she appeared on America’s Got Talent. She is also part of Ladies of Soul.

In Antwerp Grace turns to Houston’s repertoire: ballads and uptempo hits that demand technique, timing and suppleness. The programme puts the songs front and centre, leaving room for dynamics and quiet moments, in arrangements that stay close to the core. An evening around Whitney Houston’s legacy, delivered by a voice that has carried that frame of reference since her early years.
