Les Croquants

Les Croquants are Danito and Kif: two voices, some guitars and the desire to keep popular song alive with no frills. Since the 1990s they have roamed stages and bistros, breathing new life into well-known or forgotten refrains, with a taste for everyday stories and choruses that bring people together. Their blend of folk, musette, rock and Occitan touches produces concerts where people sing, clap along and share stories over a drink.

On October 16, 1999, in a bar in Narbonne, they recorded their first album live — Ça sent la bière — a snapshot of an evening when songs rubbed shoulders with the bar counter. To mark the anniversary of that recording, the duo is hitting the road again to reconnect with the direct rapport that built their devoted following.

You can find them on April 3, 2026 at the Salle Jack Jack in Bron. On the bill: covers and originals, sing-along refrains and that simple warmth that defines their approach, somewhere between convivial energy and lyrics that ring true. A genuine return to their roots, with Les Croquants close to the audience.
