Malted Milk

Since the 1990s, Malted Milk has been carving out its path from Nantes with a soul sound nourished by blues and funk. The group relies on organic grooves, a solid horn section and a pronounced affinity for Memphis soul and raw rhythm & blues. On stage, the sound is sturdy and warm, driven by vintage instrumentation that leaves room for the vocals, cutting riffs and sudden rhythmic shifts. Their trajectory crossed that of singer Toni Green, with whom they recorded the album Milk & Green, and they have accumulated collaborations that have refined this blend of old‑school heritage and contemporary pulse.

Malted Milk will be in concert on 27 March 2026 at The Black Lab, 8 Rue des Champs, 59290 Wasquehal. On the bill: grooving soul, responsive horns and a straight‑driving rhythm section, ranging from R&B-tinged ballads to funk outbursts. The band favors musical dialogue and collective energy, delivering a tight, lively live show true to the stage signature that has earned them a reputation on European soul stages.
