Jeremy Hababou

Jeremy Hababou, a French-Israeli pianist and composer, will take the stage at the Pasino GRAND Partouche Aix-en-Provence on November 25, 2026. At the crossroads of jazz, classical music and Middle Eastern influences, he weaves a repertoire that resembles a travel journal: finely wrought themes, breaths, motifs that answer one another, and a measure of improvisation always in service of the narrative. Trained from an early age and nourished by life on the road, he seeks a balance between composition and freedom, with precise attention to nuance and transitions.

On stage his playing favors dialogue: a motif is revealed, shifts, returns in another guise; silences take their place; dynamics move without gratuitous effect. One glides from muted introspection to a clearer energy without breaking continuity. In this intimate format, Hababou explores memory, the landscapes he has crossed, and what happens between two notes—where time stretches a little.
