Sebastian Marx returns with a new show… a work-in-progress. Born in New York and based in Paris, the comedian blends American-style stand-up with French life. His playground: language mismatches, social codes, bureaucracy and everything that’s off in everyday life. Here, nothing is fixed: he tests, trims, rewrites and improvises. The show is still finding its shape, and that’s where it gets interesting—when jokes are built in contact with the audience and ideas take hold.
Join us on 19 March 2026 at La Compagnie du Café-Théâtre in Nantes. Whether you’ve followed his appearances in comedy clubs or are discovering him for the first time, this work-in-progress reveals the making of a new set: an expatriate’s perspective mixed with observational humor, a direct tone and rhythms inherited from New York stages, all adjusted for a French-speaking audience.
