Jeff Tweedy plays the Commodore Ballroom, 868 Granville Street, Vancouver, on April 5, 2026. First heard at the end of the 80s with Uncle Tupelo, then as the singer and principal songwriter of Wilco in Chicago, he has long balanced band work with a solo path. Since the 2000s he’s released intimate records that strip songs to voice, guitar and spare arrangements — Together at Last, Warm, Warmer, Love Is the King. His writing moves between acoustic folk, indie rock and understated reworkings of his own catalogue. On stage, Tweedy often leans into that bare‑bones approach and keeps a direct line with the room, sharing the stories and the craft behind the songs.
Special guest Liam Kazar opens the night, setting the mood before Tweedy takes over.
