Quebec drummer and singer Martin Levac has carved out his path by diving deep into the worlds of Phil Collins and Genesis, approaching their catalogs as both interpreter and arranger. First noticed in the early 2000s with The Musical Box, he carried the drum-and-voice dynamic of the Collins era onto international stages. Now, with a steady band, he leads shows that revisit the 70s and 80s, moving fluidly from pop ballads and FM rock to sections that lean toward progressive rock. The focus is on groove, clean textures and arrangements that echo the sound of those records while leaving space for his own choices. Alongside these tributes, Levac brings in original material shaped by British mainstream rock and his Montreal roots, giving the set a clear throughline rather than a simple reenactment. Martin Levac will be at Théâtre Manuvie in Brossard on October 17, 2026.
