DIE KRUPPS 45th Anniversary Tour

Die Krupps brings its 45th Anniversary Tour to The Starlite Room in Edmonton on April 9, 2026. Born in Düsseldorf at the dawn of the 1980s around Jürgen Engler, the band carved out an industrial language built on noise, metallic textures and a clear-eyed view of the machine age. From the radical blueprint of Stahlwerksynfonie and the sequenced drive of Volle Kraft Voraus!, Die Krupps moved toward structured electronics and the physical pulse that helped shape EBM. In the 1990s, guitars joined the circuitry on I and II – The Final Option, a hybrid that carried through III – Odyssey of the Mind and Paradise Now. After a pause, the group returned to the road and to the studio with records like The Machinists of Joy, V – Metal Machine Music and Vision 2020 Vision. Still led by Engler, with the mark of Ralf Dörper in the project’s DNA, Die Krupps ties political lyrics, worker imagery and mechanical sonics into a sound that shifts between cold sequences and riff-led weight. A concise tour of four decades, delivered live and unadorned.
