Info
Montreal singer Dominique Fils-Aimé brings her intimate blend of vocal jazz and soul to Théâtre Manuvie in Brossard, Canada on November 16, 2026. Rooted in her Haitian heritage and the lineage of African American music, her work has grown since the mid-2010s across Canadian stages and abroad, shifting from tight trio formats to fuller orchestrations depending on the project.
Her first three albums — Nameless (2018), Stay Tuned! (2019) and Three Little Words (2021) — form a cycle that reflects on history and memory, weaving minimal soul, contemporary jazz, hints of R&B and echoes of spirituals. With Our Roots Run Deep (2023), she turns inward to explore ancestry and grounding. On stage, she leans on vocal rhythm, choral layers and space as much as harmony, shaping a stripped-back sound that lets the songs breathe.
At Théâtre Manuvie, 6000 Boulevard de Rome, she revisits this repertoire with the clarity and focus that define her recent tours, carrying a set that moves with ease between intimacy and groove.
