Dave Fenley « Trio »

Texas-born singer-songwriter Dave Fenley brings his trio to Cabaret du Casino in Montréal on May 30, 2026. Rooted in American country with shades of folk and soul, Fenley reached a wide audience on America’s Got Talent in 2013 and The Voice US in 2018 with Blake Shelton. In Québec, many discovered him in 2022 on En direct de l’Univers during Lise Dion’s special. For this new show, he’s joined by two Québec musicians in a compact setup that leans on close harmonies, acoustic textures and the feel of a small band.

On stage, Fenley moves between his own songs and reworked versions of well-known tracks, approached with a songwriter’s touch. The set shifts from intimate ballads to more driving numbers, leaves room for stories between tunes, and glides from country roots toward gospel-tinged grooves. His repertoire balances originals and rearranged standards, with an emphasis on melody, rhythm and the exchange with the room.
