Info
Halifax-born and long Toronto-based, Sloan unites Chris Murphy, Jay Ferguson, Patrick Pentland and Andrew Scott around a shared method: each member writes and sings, often trading roles, steering songs between bright pop, sturdier rock and slower mid-tempos. Emerging from the early-90s Halifax pop explosion, the band set a first marker with Smeared (1992), then shaped a clearer signature on Twice Removed (1994), One Chord to Another (1996) and Navy Blues (1998). Melodic guitars, stacked harmonies and concise hooks sit alongside longer suites and discreet nods to 60s and 70s rock. Later releases like Never Hear the End of It (2006), Commonwealth (2014), 12 (2018) and Steady (2022) keep that multi-voice formula alive and varied.
On March 13, 2026, Sloan brings this catalogue to London Music Hall in London. The set draws across eras, balancing recent tracks with long-running staples, built on the band’s interplay and four distinct voices working together.
