Raymond van het Groenewoud returns with Archivaris – 75 jaar Raymond, a concert that traces the arc of his career. A Belgian singer-songwriter and musician active since the 1970s, he moves between pop, rock and Dutch-language song, with clear songwriting and timeless sketches of everyday life. In Ghent he brings together songs written in different periods, from familiar numbers to more recent compositions, linked by stories, snapshots and archival material that add depth to the whole. The stripped-down lineup highlights guitar, keyboards and voice for a direct, no-frills sound true to his approach. The program follows the momentum of his early years, the turns taken along the way and the clear-eyed perspective that informs his lyrics.
