Véronique Gallo « La Vraie Vie »

Véronique Gallo appears at the Cirque Royal in Brussels on 22 May 2027 with La Vraie Vie, a solo show in which she probes everyday life with clear language and unshowy humour. A Belgian comedian and writer, she starts from very concrete situations, barely distorted: the mental load that creeps in everywhere, the fragile balances between work and home, the expectations we place on ourselves, and those small contradictions that linger in the corner. She unfolds precise scenes, dialogues you think you recognise, and stays focused on the real, without detours.

La Vraie Vie moves forward in fragments: memories, lists, confessions, pauses and restarts. The tempo remains loose, between confidences and sharp observations, with an intimacy that quickly establishes itself with the audience. No frills, a few sidesteps, and a measured tone that leaves room for both silences and outbursts. A moment to face our automatic responses and gently laugh at what spills over, without moralising or a how-to, simply the pleasure of sharing what feels familiar.
