Les Bodin's « Grandeur nature »

Les Bodin’s are hitting the road again with Grandeur Nature, their signature format in which Maria, a strong-willed countrywoman, calls the shots opposite Christian, her son who’s constantly overwhelmed. The duo brings their rural world to the stage with a spacious, lively set conceived as an open-air farm. Between family squabbles, small village schemes and misunderstandings that spiral out of control, the dialogue snaps, the accent lingers and the lines follow one another without pause. You encounter everyday rural habits reworked in their own way, blunders that land perfectly, and the well-honed rapport of two characters the public has followed for years.

Buoyed by the extension of their 30th-anniversary tour, this return keeps the energy of their early days and the thrill of large-scale stage performance. Les Bodin’s will take up residence on 20 February 2027 at the Parc des Expositions - Destination Angers, in Angers, to put their Grandeur Nature back in the spotlight. It’s an opportunity to see live this popular two-voice theatre—rhythmic and direct—where everything comes from family, the village and a keen eye for everyone’s little quirks.
