Dany Boon returns to the stage with Being a Clown Isn’t a Profession, a one-man show that examines what lies behind the label he has been tagged with since the start of his career. Seven years after his last tour, the comedian sets out again to meet the public with new stories, characters cut from the raw, and that everyday observational eye that runs through his work. He plays with the line between clown and actor, blends stand-up and sketches, pulls on threads of childhood, little family quirks, misunderstandings and speech tics, without forgetting nods to the North.

Microphone in hand, he lays out a simple, direct narrative carried by a lively tempo and a wish to share.
