ABADIR, a producer, sound designer, DJ and music critic born in Cairo and based in Berlin, crafts an electronic sound that moves between club and ambient, always attentive to shifting textures and rhythms. A member of the SVBKVLT label, he forges connections across scenes and formats. Alongside him, Nicolò Cervello, a multimedia artist, develops work in motion design and interactive design. His 3D computer-graphics practice focuses on the blurred boundary between realism and replication, with a keen sense of spatial composition and attention to detail. The two will present their A/V live performance on 26 March 2026 at the Communale Saint-Ouen in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine.
ABADIR’s latest album, Kitbashing, was conceived from the outset as an audiovisual collaboration with Nicolò Cervello. On stage, the project ties together fragmented sounds and generative visuals to probe the influence of social media and the constant presence of data-collecting algorithms in our daily practices, while sketching fragile yet concrete avenues of escape within a saturated stream.
