On March 31, 2026, at Petit Bain in Paris, The Apartments return to the stage with songs from their eighth album, "That's What the Music Is For." Founded by Australian Peter Milton Walsh, the band has for more than forty years cultivated a restrained songwriting style, balancing clear melodies with luminous melancholy. For this Paris performance, Walsh will be joined by Tim Kevin (keyboards, guitar, vocals) and Jeff Crawley (trumpet, percussion). Together they present a repertoire that has spanned decades, with arrangements that give the voice and lyrics room to breathe, supported by expansive keyboards and touches of brass. It’s an opportunity to dive back into The Apartments’ world, from Brisbane to European stages, with this new album on the horizon and a story that continues to be written in Paris.
