Born out of clandestine parties held in abandoned buildings in Glasgow, Franz Ferdinand have kept a direct approach to songwriting: clean guitars, a snapping rhythm, choruses that cut straight to the point. The Human Fear, their new album, follows that line while nudging the sound further into the future, without losing their knack for great songs. In nearly two decades, Franz Ferdinand has built a solid discography and a respected live presence, with millions of albums sold, billions of streams, certifications and awards at the Brit Awards, Ivor Novello and Mercury Prize, as well as Grammy nominations. After a full, intimate tour and a summer spent on major festival stages, the band returns to Europe in spring and summer 2026.
