Les Chevaliers du Fiel « Vacances à Dubaï »

Les Chevaliers du Fiel return to the stage with Vacances à Dubaï, at the Théâtre Le Paris Avignon on April 10, 2026. The Toulouse duo, Eric Carrière and Francis Ginibre, revisit their favourite characters, the Lamberts. Christian takes Martine on an escape to the emirate everyone’s talking about, a setting ripe for situations that go awry and for unlikely encounters.

Written and directed by Eric Carrière, the show presents twelve characters played by two actors. The performers shift from the Lamberts to the figures they meet along the way: hotel staff, tourists, vendors and local authorities. A brisk pace, visible quick changes and verbal back-and-forth form the Chevaliers’ signature. The piece moves between couple misunderstandings, a clash of habits and small, typically French quirks set against a holiday-departure backdrop.

Francis Ginibre and Eric Carrière extend the saga of Christian and Martine Lambert and lay out their gallery of portraits with a precise comic mechanism nourished by everyday detail. Vacances à Dubaï gives their duo a new playground, oscillating between a change of scenery and familiar reference points.
