Exhumed returns to Paris on April 11, 2026, at Backstage & O'Sullivans By The Mill Paris, supported by Gruesome. A leading figure of gore metal, the band blends razor-sharp riffs, breakneck tempos and cavernous vocals. Since their beginnings they draw from both grind and death metal to create a direct, stage-focused sound. Between punk detours, searing solos and choruses made for screaming along, Exhumed delivers a raw, physical set steeped in macabre imagery and black humor that’s part of their DNA.
Gruesome claims the legacy of Tampa’s first wave of death metal and the formative influence of Death. With Silent Echoes, released in 2025, the quartet departs from the formulas of Savage Land and Twisted Prayers towards more nuanced writing inspired by the Human era (1991): sinuous rhythms, interweaving guitars and heavy atmospheres. On stage, Gruesome unfolds a lively, precise old-school death metal, fuelled by dark melodies and a strong sense of riffcraft—an ideal counterpoint to Exhumed’s hooky brutality.
