Les Négresses Vertes

Born in Paris in 1987, Les Négresses Vertes blend acoustic rock, chanson réaliste and Mediterranean influences. With Mlah in 1988, the band quickly crossed borders and toured internationally until 2001. After a break, their 2018 reformation revived the project with 350 concerts, bringing back at its core the alchemy of strings, brass and percussion carried by a solidly rooted rhythm.

In 2026 the group set out again across Europe with the Zobi Tour and will stop at La Maroquinerie in Paris on 14 October 2026. On stage, the acoustic arrangements gain in tension and depth, between Latin pulses, nervy tempos and lyrics that retain the grit of the streets. Les Négresses Vertes revisit their repertoire and its collective energy, crafted for venues close to the audience. It’s an opportunity to rediscover that blend of roughness and melody that makes up the band’s DNA, shaped in the streets, in bars and on long roads from Paris to the Mediterranean.
