Alexis Le Rossignol « Le sens de la vie »

Info

Alexis Le Rossignol draws his stories from everyday life, from places where almost nothing happens and where everything plays out quietly. In his show Le sens de la vie, he starts from a memory of a horse called Sans plus and from a not-quite-admitted desire to unfold stories on a human scale. Between storytelling and kitchen-table philosophy, he strings together small scenes, digressions and questions we usually put off. What do we do with our lives? How are our choices, our renunciations and our little maneuvers to stay standing made? With clear phrasing and precise writing, he sets the scene, shifts it just enough, and moves forward without fuss.

On 14 March 2026 at the Théâtre La Gaîté Rive Gauche in Paris, he unfolds this new set like one opens a notebook: personal fragments, field observations, absurd micro-logics, hushed confidences. There are no grand theories, but details that add up and illuminate the question without locking it down. You hear inner dialogues, tiny lives and shaky plans, accompanied by that little musical thread that defines him, between calm lucidity and feigned nonchalance. An evening to confront our contradictions and keep the question of meaning alive.
