Cat Power is celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Greatest and is touring in 2026 to perform the album in its entirety. She will stop at MeM Rennes on 26 October 2026. Behind Cat Power is the American singer-songwriter Chan Marshall, who has built a world between rock and alternative music, centered on voice and guitars. Released in January 2006, The Greatest is her first record made entirely of songs she wrote herself—a decisive step in how she records and claims her compositions. On stage, the setlist follows the album’s sequence, from “The Greatest” to “Lived in Bars,” including “Where Is My Love,” performed straight through as on the record. This tour highlights the album, which remains her best-selling to date. Cat Power revisits her songs with a stripped-back approach, refocusing on the writing and the performance to let the songs speak for themselves.
