Suzanne Vega, a New York singer-songwriter associated with the 1980s folk revival, returns to Grenoble on March 23, 2026, for a concert at La Belle Electrique. She will be performing her signature songs, from “Tom’s Diner” to “Luka,” and presenting a program that revisits her entire discography. The tour also features Flying with Angels, released in May 2025, her first studio album in eleven years. The album was produced by Gerry Leonard, a longtime guitarist and collaborator also known for his work with David Bowie and Rufus Wainwright. On stage, Vega blends bright guitars, understated rhythms, and spare arrangements, alternating stripped-down numbers with more electric passages. The new songs continue the thread of her songwriting while standing alongside her classics, with a folk through-line that makes room for pop touches.
