Born in California, the band made its mark with a black-and-white aesthetic and familiar tracks like “Sweater Weather,” “Daddy Issues,” and “Softcore.” Straddling alternative rock, emotive pop, and R&B influences, their sound works in chiaroscuro, blending foggy melodies, measured rhythms, and warm bass.
