Le 6MIC presents Axel Bauer. With this eighth studio album, Axel Bauer continues the path he opened with Radio Londres in 2022. The album contains more than twenty tracks, written and composed by him, with contributions from Pierre-Yves Lebert, Boris Bergman and Brigitte Fontaine. It features echoes of Bowie and Prince, 1970s rock, sonic touches from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, and a mix of guitars and synthesizers. The first single, Merde à la mer, due for release in May 2025, is performed as a duet with Brigitte Fontaine and is built around a call-and-response exchange.
