Tessa Rose Jackson, a Dutch-British singer, songwriter and artist, has returned to using her own name after a long period creating under the pseudonym Someone. Raised in Amsterdam by two mothers and shaped by the loss of one of them, she engaged early with themes of death and life. After a first pop album, Songs From The Sandbox (2013), she moved away from a packaged image and began exploring freer, more experimental music as Someone, blending visual art with dream-pop textures.
