On 9 May 2026 at the Théâtre Denis in Hyères, Joulik presents Rivages, a project led by a vocal and instrumental quartet that enjoys bringing different musical trajectories together. Voices intertwine with strings and percussion, creating a playground where maloya and samba, Balkan inflections and Andean breaths meet. Each piece functions like a stopover: polyphony gives structure to the whole, timbres answer one another, and rhythms glide from one continent to another. Without ossified folklore or showy display, Joulik proceeds guided by the ear, attentive to group dynamics and textures. An opening act will kick off the evening.
