Antes & Madzes tell life far from the capitals with a rap that looks you straight in the face. Since their beginnings the duo has been touring Aveyron, with worn sneakers and notebooks full, drawing images from empty fields, Sundays that last too long, and streets where you mostly encounter silence. In the manner of an early Orelsan stuck in Caen, they make the boredom and dry humor of the provinces resonate, unvarnished. Clean rhymes, a direct flow, hooks that stick and punchlines that sting—their writing is as much observation as intimate storytelling.

In 2025 they released "De janvier à janvier," a single announcing Merci de rien, an EP that came out on October 8, 2025. At La Maroquinerie in Paris on April 9, 2026, Antes & Madzes will come to perform these new tracks and revisit their standout songs.
