Belinda Davids, a South African singer, has for several years been presenting The Greatest Love of All, a tribute dedicated to Whitney Houston. Discovered in 2017 after winning the BBC show Even Better Than the Real Thing, and later invited to perform on the Apollo Theater stage on Steve Harvey’s programme, she has distinguished herself with a generous voice and a sense of phrasing that suit Whitney’s repertoire, balancing power and finesse.

In Avignon, she revisits staples such as I Will Always Love You, I Wanna Dance with Somebody, How Will I Know, Run to You and One Moment in Time, accompanied by a live band and backing vocals. The aim is not to mimic note for note, but to bring these songs to life with respect and precision, recapturing the energy of the up-tempo numbers and the emotional tension of the ballads.
