Didier Barbelivien

Info

On 29 March 2026, Didier Barbelivien took the stage at the Casino Barrière de Lille in Lille for a concert devoted to his own repertoire and to the songs he wrote for others. A songwriter-composer active for more than forty years, he revisited his own numbers — from 'Elle' to 'Elsa', 'À toutes les filles' and 'Les Mariés de Vendée'. He also traced the thread of a discography shared with French popular music: 'Michèle' for Gérard Lenorman, 'L’été s’ra chaud' for Éric Charden, 'Il tape sur des bambous' for Philippe Lavil, 'On va s’aimer' and 'Les Sunlights des tropiques' for Gilbert Montagné, 'Mademoiselle chante le blues' and 'Mon mec à moi' for Patricia Kaas, 'Est-ce que tu viens pour les vacances' for David et Jonathan. Also featured were 'Petite fille du soleil' for Christophe, 'Elle m’oublie' for Johnny Hallyday, 'Quand je t’aime' for Demis Roussos, 'J’étais un ange' for Michel Delpech, 'La Rivière de notre enfance' for Michel Sardou and Garou, and 'Méditerranéenne' for Hervé Vilard. A set that links his own songs with those he composed for others, inviting the audience to sing along.
