Info
On March 18, 2026, at l’Elysée Montmartre in Paris, Miki, aka Mikaela Duplay, arrives with her modern, hybrid pop. A French artist, she draws images from everyday life like stolen shots: a horse galloping along the Seine, a group of nerds getting their revenge around a ping‑pong table, a phone hastily left on a car to capture the back of a Buffalo Grill. This ordinary yet offbeat backdrop frames songs with intimate, direct storytelling, carried by crisp productions that get straight to the point.
Her first EP, graou, is named after the expression she lets out when something not great—but not serious—happens. Since then, Miki has continued to write her story by assembling songs as one would keep a diary: candid and unpretentious. She is preparing her debut album, due in the autumn, in the same vein: clear writing, productions that land in the right places, and a proudly DIY aesthetic. On stage, she renders these tracks in a pared‑down form, true to the blend of closeness, momentum, and precision that defines her signature.
