La Maison Tellier will play at Paul B Massy on May 28, 2026. Formed in Rouen, the band has, since 2005, carved out a clear space between folk rock and French chanson. Acoustic and electric guitars respond to each other, with understated harmonies and a hint of Americana; French-language songs that evoke roads, fault lines and intimate landscapes. On stage, the band favors an organic sound: slide guitar, banjo or trumpet depending on the song, steady rhythms that allow the lead vocal and backing vocals to breathe. The set includes slow ballads, choruses that stick without effort, and a tension that builds in subtle touches. It alternates luminous melancholy with rougher pulses, featuring precise songwriting and pared-down arrangements.
