Benjamin Biolay

Benjamin Biolay continues his acoustic interlude and comes to the Centre de Congrès Jean Monnier - Destination Angers, in Angers, on 26 April 2026. A songwriter, composer and performer, he returns to the essentials — voice to the fore and stripped-down arrangements — to present his songs in a different light. This tour accompanies Disque bleu, his new album announced for autumn 2025, and also touches on notable chapters of his career, from La Superbe and Saint‑Clair to Palermo Hollywood.

On stage, Biolay favors intimacy and takes the time to unfold his lyrics, moving between ballads and more driving tempos, in a warm atmosphere. The melodies settle in shades of light and shadow and let the inflections of a familiar timbre come through, with pared-back instrumentation that highlights the songwriting. A format well suited to hearing the arrangements differently and rediscovering his repertoire in a rawer version, centered on voice and words.
