Keren Ann

Since her beginnings, Keren Ann has traced a singular line between indie rock and jazz influences, carried by precise, melodic songwriting. As a singer-songwriter, she crafts songs with pared-down outlines in which the voice leads the narrative without force, in a play of subtlety that leaves room for silences and breath. Her career has led her to collaborate with Iggy Pop, David Byrne, Jane Birkin, Henri Salvador, Françoise Hardy and Benjamin Biolay—encounters that have nourished her sense of arrangement and counterpoint.

In 2025 she released Paris Amour, an album that extends her sonic signature and opens new directions in her repertoire. On 5 May 2026, Keren Ann performed at Malraux Scène nationale Chambéry Savoie, in Chambéry, accompanied by her musicians. On stage she presented a setlist that balances intimacy and breadth, showcasing a recognisable voice and intimate songwriting. Guitar textures, discreet rhythmic motifs and a few jazz touches establish a hushed atmosphere, inviting close listening to the songs—without unnecessary effects, just the essentials.
