Elmer Food Beat

Elmer Food Beat is celebrating four decades of unvarnished rock and is putting the amps back at the center of the action. Born in 1986 in Piriac-sur-Mer, the band has forged a direct, playful identity driven by earworm choruses and a strong stage presence. Twistos, Manou and Vincent, soon joined by Kelu and Kalou and later by Grand Lolo, have built over the years a repertoire made for live shows, with nervous guitars, mischievous humour and collective energy.

In 2026 they’re heading out on an anniversary tour that looks in the rearview without losing momentum. On the bill: 30 cm played in its entirety—the cult album that marked their beginnings—and a selection of songs that tell the band’s story, from the wave of the 1980s to today. Not frozen nostalgia, but a desire to perform the tracks at full stage intensity, in that constant back-and-forth with the audience that has always been their driving force.
