Garou « Solo »

On 27 November 2026 at La Gare du Midi, Biarritz, Garou presents Solo, a musical encounter that brings the focus back to his voice, his lyrics and his instruments. In April 2025 he released Un meilleur lendemain, his first album issued with him credited as songwriter-composer. Designed for the stage, this record opens a new chapter and establishes a more personal musical vision, with ten songs conceived to be experienced in concert. Alone on stage, he alternates between piano and guitar, occasionally drawing on technology to expand the sonic palette, and deploys a staging with cinematic and theatrical overtones.

The show’s thread draws as much from autobiography as from retrospective. In words and music Garou recounts years on the road, moments of solitude in the open air, solid friendships and the surge of love that surrounds him. More than thirty years of his career intersect with his recent material: reworked classics and new pieces echo one another, carried by meticulous direction and a scenography rich in imagery. After extensive work in the studio and on the road, Solo distills his journey into an intimate, direct concert, balancing confessional moments with live energy.
