Info

Revealed in 1981 with “Kids In America,” Kim Wilde quickly established herself in global pop. “Chequered Love,” “Cambodia” and “You Keep Me Hangin’ On” (a number one in the United States) anchored her signature sound in the 1980s. Voted Best British Female at the BPI Awards in 1983, she joined Michael Jackson on the Bad tour in Europe and later shared the bill with David Bowie in 1990.

The 1990s saw her follow up with Love Moves and Love Is, featuring the single “Love Is Holy” and a cover of “If I Can’t Have You.” After a hiatus to focus on family life and her passion for gardening, she returned to the stage in 2001, signed with EMI in Germany and released Never Say Never in 2006, followed by numerous concerts.

In 2021, her compilation Pop Don’t Stop – The Greatest Hits unveiled “Shine On,” a duet with Boy George that climbed to the top of vinyl sales in the UK. Between festival appearances, a Greatest Hits tour in 2022–2023 and an acoustic interlude called Wilde Winter, the momentum has kept going.

Back with the album Closer due in January 2025, Kim Wilde is set to kick off a new tour in 2026. See her on 16 April 2026 at Le Silo in Marseille to hear a mix of timeless classics and new material.
