Converge returns to Paris for a concert at the Bataclan on November 16, 2026. Formed in the early 1990s around Jacob Bannon and Kurt Ballou, the band has established its own unmistakable way of fusing hardcore and metal: abrasive riffs, dissonances, jagged rhythms and tempo shifts that keep everyone on edge. From early milestones such as Petitioning the Empty Sky and When Forever Comes Crashing to Jane Doe, then You Fail Me, No Heroes or Axe to Fall, Converge has honed a taut, dense sound, sometimes more atmospheric without losing impact. More recently, The Dusk in Us and Bloodmoon: I have broadened the palette with darker textures and more intricate arrangements. A date to rediscover that precise chaos, tailor-made for the stage, with Sanguisugabogg, Blackbraid and Pupil Slicer as opening acts.
