Info
On September 21, 2027, The Teskey Brothers take the stage at L’Olympia in Paris for a concert that showcases their old-school soul blues, tailor-made for the live setting. Led by brothers Josh Teskey (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Sam Teskey (lead guitar), the band built itself in bars around Melbourne before finding a sound of its own: a raspy voice at the forefront, guitars often minimalist, and just enough brass and backing vocals to give texture without overloading. From Half Mile Harvest to Run Home Slow and The Winding Way, they navigate between soul ballads, roots blues, and touches of folk, with a real sense of mid-tempo groove and slow, moody atmospheres. Their live experience, reinforced by albums recorded live and even an orchestral venture, comes through in the way the tracks breathe and rise in intensity. At L’Olympia, one can expect a set focused on emotion and group dynamics, designed to sustain every chorus, every silence, every riff.
