Info
On October 21, 2027, The Chats roll into London for a night at Electric Ballroom, bringing their Sunshine Coast-born brand of shed rock and stripped-back punk. Since forming in 2016, they’ve built everything around short, direct songs: lean riffs, a raw garage bite, and that pub-rock energy that doesn’t waste time setting the scene. The set is made for fast starts and louder choruses, with lyrics that zoom in on everyday life and land with a dry, blunt humour.
After early EPs and the breakout impact of “Smoko”, the band kept pushing from local venues to bigger stages, taking that very Australian bar-band feel well beyond home. With Josh Hardy on guitar since 2020, they’ll be pulling from High Risk Behaviour and Get Fucked, sticking to what they do best: minimal, spontaneous, and wired for the front row.
