Info
On January 29, 2027, at the Théâtre Capitole de Québec, Yoann Bourgeois and Patrick Watson come together for a show born from a long dialogue begun in 2020. On one side, Bourgeois, a performer at the crossroads of acrobatics, dance, and juggling, who likes to tilt bodies and images toward the unexpected. On the other, Watson, a Montreal-based songwriter accustomed to indie-pop climates and more intimate arrangements, carried by a soft voice and writing laid bare. Together, they craft a hybrid form where music and gesture respond to one another, with a shared longing for poetry and engagement as a backdrop. The show rests on a reflection on the era, without contrived discourse: it moves between physical scenes and sung moments, with several performers to enrich the tableau. A meeting conceived as a testing ground, where the intimate and the collective rub against one another.
