Info
On December 27, 2026, SLANDER brings its Los Angeles-bred bass music to Rebel in Toronto for a night built on contrasts: emotive vocal hooks on one side, heavy low-end drops on the other. The duo, Derek Andersen and Scott Land, first got noticed in the early 2010s with remixes and bootlegs that fused trap energy with big melodies, and they’ve since pushed a hybrid sound where dubstep, future bass, and pop instincts collide.
Onstage, that crossover translates into rapid switches between singalong-friendly passages and harder, festival-scale bass moments, sitting right at the intersection of melodic dubstep and trap EDM. Expect a set shaped by years of touring the club and festival circuit across North America and beyond, with the kind of pacing that keeps the room moving from start to finish. This Toronto date at Rebel is a straight-up chance to catch SLANDER’s full-spectrum approach in a proper club setting.
