Info
DIIV bring their restless blend of indie rock, dream pop and shoegaze to Toronto on April 13, 2027, for DIIV - ZIRP! The World at Danforth Music Hall. Born in Brooklyn around Zachary Cole Smith’s original recordings, the band built its identity on layered guitars, hazy melodic hooks and a rhythm section that keeps everything tight even when the sound gets washed in reverb.
Expect a set that moves across their different eras: the airy rush of Oshin, the denser, more hard-edged writing of Is the Is Are, and the heavier, rougher drive they leaned into on Deceiver. With Frog in Boiling Water still pushing that direct, guitar-forward approach, DIIV’s live show tends to hit like a shifting wall of sound: melodic, nervous, and constantly in motion, built for anyone who likes their pop lines buried inside distortion.
