Info
Brighton-based singer-songwriter Alfie Jukes brings his sharp, intimate brand of UK pop to Thekla in Bristol on April 20, 2027. His songs sit right on the line between indie-pop sensitivity and straight-up melodic punch: light guitars, clean modern production, and choruses that stick without forcing it. On stage, that balance works because the writing stays front and centre, moving through relationships, growing up, and the everyday doubts you don’t always say out loud.
After making noise in the early 2020s with “Spiderwebs”, Jukes has kept refining a direct, hook-led format across releases like the Little Omens EP (2023) and Sitting Pretty (2024), while building real live momentum around the UK and Europe, including touring and support slots for Only The Poets. Expect a set that’s personal but punchy, built for a room where lyrics land as much as the riffs do, with newer material pointing toward his next chapter after the All Dressed Up for Nothing EP announced for 2025.
