Info
On September 9, 2027, André Rieu brings his Johann Strauss Orchestra to The SSE Arena Belfast for an evening built around the Viennese waltz and that easy-to-grab, melodic side of classical music. Violin in hand, he switches between soloist and conductor, shaping a program that typically moves fast: Strauss-style waltzes and polkas, operetta excerpts, familiar film themes, popular songs, and a handful of classical staples presented in a straightforward, feel-good way.
Rieu’s concerts are also about the collective vibe. Expect a full orchestral sound, featured moments for guest voices and choir, and plenty of back-and-forth with the crowd, as he guides the room through big sing-along hooks and lighter passages without turning it into a lecture. It’s a show designed to feel like a shared night out, where classical repertoire meets stagecraft and a party-ready rhythm.
