Info
On November 28, 2026, Korpiklaani will take the stage at the Fairmount Theatre in Montréal for an evening devoted to Finnish folk metal, blending tight riffs with traditional instruments. Led by Jonne Järvelä, the band has since its early days honed a distinctive formula: a heavy, no-frills foundation, driving rhythms, and above all that blend of accordion and violin that hooks melodies inspired by Nordic dance music, humppa, and Finnish traditions. On stage, it hinges as much on the collective surge of the choruses as on the balance between dry guitars and acoustic textures, with themes that evoke nature, folk tales, and the spirit of celebration. Alongside them, Crimson Shadows and Nordheim complete the lineup and kick off the night, building toward a momentum that promises a packed and well-paced evening at the crossroads of metal and Northern folklores.
